Job Information

• Position: Mechanical Estimation Engineer
• Work Location: Office-based (No site work required)
• Working Days: Monday – Friday
  • Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 or 08:30 – 17:30
  • Lunch Break: 12:00 – 13:00

Job Description

• Read and understand technical drawings related to air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Review PDF drawings to identify technical requirements and project scope.
• Use Planest software to prepare detailed cost estimates for project items.
• Calculate quantities of materials and work volumes based on technical drawings.
• Cross-check data between drawings and Planest software to ensure estimation accuracy.
• Verify technical specifications and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and contractors to collect necessary information.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss estimation-related issues and make adjustments when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic Japanese language skills for communication with managers and reading technical drawings (JLPT N4 or above).
• Graduated from majors related to HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, Water Supply & Drainage, Japanese Language, or related fields.
• Relevant work experience is preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Desire to work in a stable and long-term environment.
• Careful, diligent, and eager to learn.
